Its flexibility properties are higher than "conventional" foams. The sag factor is high too. Their “Push-Release" forces are very close to each other. Therefore, they ensure higher comfort at sitting units. Also for beds this type of foams are preferred for the anatomic comfort it provides
Optionally, the "flame retardant" can be produced in the feature.
Flame retardant HR foams,if flame source is continuously kept it does burn however, the flame source is removed ,and the foam is extinguished by itself...
What does Sag factor mean? What are "Push-Release" curves?
Let’s take a piece of foam and compress it between our two palms. The foam will show pressure against our palms
Let’s draw this pressure in the shape of a graphic, and now, let’s slowly open our palms. The pressure that the foam gives is still available but this pressure is lower than the pressure at the time when it was compressed at the same rate. Let’s draw this on the same graphic. Thus, we will have obtained "Push-Release" (hysteresis) curve. Now, we see the differences between the Conventional foam and HR foam. The counter pressure that HR foam gives while being compressed is very close to the counter pressure it gives when released. This property gives vitality to such type of foam.
As it can be seen in this graphic, while it is in 65% compression, the coefficient which is obtained by dividing the counter pressure in 25% compression condition is the SAG factor. The higher the Sag factor is, the more feeling of "comfort" the foam will give to the sitting person.
